Coming soon to Toronto’s sought-after West Queen West, Cabin is Curated Properties latest project after launching some of the city’s most unique residences, including Lanehouse on Bartlett in Bloordale Village and Dovercourt 455 at College Street and Dovercourt Road.
BuzzBuzzHome News dropped by the site at 45 Dovercourt Road this week to get a sneak peek of the presentation centre that is currently under construction. Using several empty shipping containers, the developer has created a truly eye-catching structure that mimics Cabin’s stacked architecture and profile.
When the project launches later this fall, Cabin will introduce an intimate collection of two-storey towns to the popular West Queen West neighbourhood. In true Curated fashion, the developer has partnered with Toronto-based RAW Design to create a community that’s completely original.
The result is a six-storey townhome project inspired by the cabins usually found deep in the Canadian wilderness. Design elements like the use of wood, stone and dark metal panels are reminiscent of a rural getaway lodge and provide a northern-inspired escape within a metropolitan landscape.
“Cabin is a logical next step for Curated,” said Adam Ochshorn, Principal at Curated Properties. “We’re very driven by the West Queen West neighbourhood and the call in Toronto for something local, artisanal and authentic.”
